Music Goal:
The goal of music education is to develop in each student the
ability to perform, create, understand and value music.

Holomua's music program uses the Orff Schulwerk Process, which uses the following music techniques:
• Sing, chant, use rhymes, clap, dance, keep a beat on ANYTHING!
• Use poems, rhymes, games, dances and songs, accompanied by body percussion, drums, shakers, bells, scrapers, xylophones, etc.
• Non-competitive atmosphere where one of the rewards is making good music with others
• Students become sensitive listeners and considerate participants
